Why landowners list with Outdoor Access
You set the terms
Pricing, availability, permitted activities and property rules are yours to set, and you can edit or deactivate your listing at any time. Night hunting, vehicle access, stand placement — if it matters to you, it becomes a rule on your listing.
$3M liability coverage
Active listings carry comprehensive liability and property damage insurance up to $3 million while members and their guests are on your property. It is included, not an add-on.
Every member is screened
Each member passes a state and federal background check through Checkr before their account is approved. Nobody books, and nobody sets foot on your land, until they have cleared it.
Free to list, paid when you earn
Listing costs nothing. Outdoor Access earns only when you do — after a booking you are paid by ACH or check in the month following the lease start date.
You know who is coming
You get a text or email for every booking with the dates and the member's contact details, and upcoming bookings stay visible in My Bookings.
Help building the listing
Create the listing yourself, or schedule a call and have a landowner representative build it with you. There is no minimum acreage and no minimum commitment.

How it works
- 1
Tell us about your land
Schedule a short call. We will talk through your property, the activities you would allow, and what comparable land earns in your area.
- 2
Build the listing
Set your pricing, availability, permitted activities and rules — or have us draft it for you. Nothing goes live until you approve it.
- 3
Get booked, get paid
Screened members book the dates you have opened. You are notified for every booking and paid by ACH or check in the month after the lease starts.
Landowner questions
What does it cost to list my land, and how do I get paid?
Listing is free. Outdoor Access earns only when you do. After a booking you are paid by ACH or check in the month following the lease start date.
How much control do I have once my land is listed?
Full control. You set your own pricing, availability and permitted activities, and you can edit or deactivate your listing at any time.
Do I need to set rules or hunting hours?
Members follow all local, state and federal law. Typical hunting hours run from 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset, or sunset for migratory birds. You can add property-specific rules, which appear in your listing's Property Rules section — for example, whether night hunting is allowed even where it is legal.
How do you screen members?
Every member passes a state and federal background check through Checkr, our screening partner, before their account is approved. Anyone who does not clear it is denied access. No one books or sets foot on your land until they have been screened and approved.
Does Outdoor Access provide insurance?
Yes. Active listings carry comprehensive liability and property damage insurance up to $3 million while members and their guests are on your property.
Are there minimum requirements to list my land?
None. Strong listings start with a fair, accurate description: the activities you offer, your availability, and your minimum pricing. We are glad to share local expertise to help your listing succeed.
What if I need to cancel a booking, or a member does not show up?
To cancel for a land-use conflict, contact support as soon as possible so we can process it and block the dates. No-shows need no action from you, since members are charged at booking and can only cancel under our policy.
Are children allowed to accompany adults on my property?
Yes. Members can bring children 17 and under at no cost, covered under the direct supervision of an accompanying adult. Anyone 18 or over must be registered with Outdoor Access and background-checked.
How will I know when members are visiting?
You get a text and/or email for each booking with the dates and the member's contact info, and you can review upcoming bookings anytime in My Bookings.
